Meet the staff

Alex Rodriguez DMD - Dentist and owner

"I have a passion for working with my hands, which is why I became a dentist. When I'm not busy doing dentistry, I am a daily bicycle commuter and part-time artist whose works are now on permanent display along the Atlanta BeltLine. For ten years I lived in the nearby Reynoldstown neighborhood, but now that my wife and I have two children and have outgrown our old house, we recently moved to Ormewood Park, just three miles south of Inman Park."

Megan Butler DMD - Associate Dentist

Dr. Butler grew up in Alabama, and attended dental school in Boston. She and her husband live in the nearby Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta.

"As a child, I remember always asking my parents for various Arts and Crafts kits for my birthday: clay sculptures, jewelry making, water color sets etc. As I grew older, that desire to create has stayed with me, so dentistry was an obvious fit for me. I graduated from Tufts University Dental School, and I have been working with patients ever since to achieve their dental health goals and create a beautiful, healthy smile. As your dentist, it is especially important to me to give you a calming, relaxed experience in your appointment. My personal measure of success is to connect with each and every one of my patients in a way that makes them less wary of that dental chair. I also enjoy learning about the new technology that is continuously being created in the dental field to provide new and improved procedures. I am a member of the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association. When I am not in the dental office, my husband, Charles, and I enjoy cooking new dishes together, traveling, and cheering on the Falcons and Atlanta United with friends. In my spare time, I am lucky enough to volunteer as a board member of the Georgia’s Distinguished Young Women program. On rainy weekends, you can find me curled up, either reading a book or writing my own stories."

Monica Perry - Senior Patient Coordinator

(info@inmanparkdentistry.com).

I’m here to help schedule appointments and explain your insurance benefits. Call me if you have a question about your bill or would like to schedule a visit with us.

I'm a North Carolina native, a South Carolina Gamecock, and now a self proclaimed Georgia Peach with strong passion for people. I enjoy interacting and getting to know the awesome personalities of our wonderful patients. For more than 15 years I've worked in the dental field and totally enjoy every minute. I love to be that positive energy that you get when you call or walk into our office. When I'm not at the front desk (smiling of course), I'm spending time with my beautiful daughter Chloe exploring all the goodies Atlanta has to offer or cooking and entertaining friends and family in our Atlanta home.

I was born in Wuerburg, Germany to a military family and am the second of three children (two brothers). My family moved to Fort Lewis, Washington when I was just a year old. So basically home was Tacoma until I moved to Atlanta in the mid 2000's. For hobbies I like photography and writing. I started my dental career with Dr. Anita Fok of Seattle and Olympia. I immediately found that I really loved dentistry, and later trained to work as an expanded duties dental assistant as my interest grew, as well as working the front office and anything else that was related to the business of dentistry. I am a mother to a grown son, Manuel. And I have had the priveledge of working with some great doctors over the years.

Nakoma Mani - Registered Dental Hygienist

My goal is to help our patients achieve the best oral hygiene on a continual basis.  I take great pride in my work and patient care, and really enjoy seeing our patients smile. I came to the United States from Freetown, Sierra Leone in 1990 and “Georgia has been on my mind” ever since I graduated from Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, Georgia with a degree in Sociology. I later realized my passion of helping and caring for people and decided to make a career change.  I obtained an associate degree in Dental Hygiene from Middle Georgia Technical College in Warner Robin in 2001. Since then, I have worked as a dental hygienist in both corporate and private practices. Currently, I call Ellenwood, Georgia home. During my free time I enjoy gardening and of course dental hygiene projects. I’m also involved in charitable projects by volunteering for the non-profit organization, Hosea Feed the Hungry, and I help deliver supplies for schools in my hometown of Sierra Leone.

Tamara Artis - Registered Dental Hygienist

As a Georgia native I am truly excited about working in the community I grew up in. I have been a part of the dental profession for over twelve years, graduating with honors from Clayton State University with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. My goal has always been to help others. Now through dentistry I get to educate patients and make them smile. During my professional career I have worked in both corporate and private practice. When I’m not taking care of patients I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and our nine month old son. I also have a passion for traveling, jazz music, good food, and reading.

Frankie Kane - Registered Dental Hygienist

I am a South Florida native, but I have lived in the Atlanta area since 2002. I find it very gratifying as a hygienist to give care to my patients in a calm and caring atmosphere like Inman Park Dentistry, where their comfort and total wellbeing are the main concern. I began my dental career in 2000, graduating from Palm Beach State College as a Certified Dental Assistant. I later continued my education to graduate from the Medical College of Georgia as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2007, with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I have worked in different private practices, specializing in both Pediatric Dentistry and in Periodontal Therapy, for several years of my dental hygiene career. I’m always flattered to hear from patients that I have a “gentle yet thorough touch, along with an easy-going personality and compassionate nature”. I hope these qualities will help to make each patient’s hygiene visit a great experience. I love spending time with my husband and 2 adorable, young children. If I (somehow) find time for my own hobbies, I enjoy sailing, hiking, and riding my R6 motorcycle.
